Now that the exterior roof is finished, here's the fun I'm having inside.

I've removed the vinyl "wallpaper" to expose just the wood skin of the luan paneling.  Next I'm going to glue and air staple new panels of 1/8" "Besstile" or "Abitibi" to the existing ceiling.

Here's the first panel installed.  $90 air finish stapler from Home Deephole does a great job.  I've lowered the roof down onto a bunch of "props" and I'll let this panel's glue dry overnight before doing the next panel.

Panel number 2 is up, the mounts for the screen door are in, front corner plastic trim pieces are on, and the skylight trim and screen are repainted white.  Need to solder some new wire onto the seperate 1/4" Jack mount and then I can wire it and the light, and install them.

1 more panel to go, and then I just need to trim the inside corners and the 2 seams.

So far, so good.

Wow, that is looking really nice.  Good job.

Here it is with all 3 panels installed, along with the all the trim.  The inside corner trim is white plastic material, sort of like styreen(sp?), with an inside curve, and a fake wood grain finish.  The 2 pieces of trim that go between the panel edges are also white plastic, but were made to be installed by sliding the panel edges into the channel.  I couldn't install it this way because I needed to edge staple the panels to help them glue flat.  So I cut the back channel off leaving the face and center rib. The rib fit inbetween the panel edges and a bit of white caulk glued the strip in place.

Still have to mount the lights and seperate power jacks, and there's still a bit of clean up, and some staple holes down the center (into the structural wood) that need to be filled.

Here it is all finished.
