I want to post in memory of ancestors gone before, who served in defense of our country.  Those listed in bold red died in the service of their country.

Unless otherwise noted, these are all direct ancestors of myself (AB) or my wife (PJay).

Captain John Gallop - Piquot War - AB   
Governor William Bradford - Piquot War - PJay   
John Parmenter - Piquot War - AB & PJay (yes, both)
Josiah Churchill - Piquot War - PJay   
Captain Hugh Mason - King Philip's War - AB   
Captain John Allis   - King Philip's War - AB - His daughter Abigail Allis was kidnapped by Indians at age six, the same day his mother was killed.  She was held from May 19, 1676 until May 22, 1677.
Captain John Gallup - King Philip's War - (indirect AB) - Killed.
Captain Michael Pierce - King Philip's War - AB (both parents) - Killed.
Cornet Robert Stetson - King Philip's War - AB   
Isaac Johnson - King Philip's War - AB (both parents) - Killed.
Isaac Wellman - King Philip's War - AB   
Leutenant William Allis, Sr. - King Philip's War - AB - Wife killed and granddaughter taken captive by Indians.
Major William Bradford - King Philip's War - PJay
Mary Allis - King Philip's War - AB - Killed. Civilian casualty, mother of Capt. John Allis and William Allis, Jr.  Though she may not have been a true veteran, she paid the ultimate price.
Samuel Davis - King Philip's War - AB
Sergeant Benjamin Waite - King Philip's War - AB - One of two men who went to Canada to ransom Abigail Allis, among others taken captive.
Thomas Lincoln - King Philip's War -    AB - I hesitiate to include him..."On March 10, 1675, he was found guilty of mutinous conduct in 'breaking away from the army' with others unter the lead of Lt. Robert Barker, 'When they wer on their march...by his example alureing others to come away with him, to the great scandoll, prejudice and disparragement of the Collonie.'  For this, Thomas Lincoln was fined the amount of his pay, 8
