Crack in trunk lid deck on Coleman Bayside

Over the winter, our Coleman Bayside developed a crack on the back side of the deck for the trunk lid. Of course it is out of warranty and the replacement deck is kinda spendy. Does anyone know of any repair options?

The storage lid on our 2000 Bayside developed some small cracks near one of the latches.  So far, they are minor.  The only thing I've done is to loosen the latch so that it's not stressed as much, but I'm now officially watching this thread.

Dealer was asking $350 for a new lid.  He admitted that they had been less than $180 a year earlier (before the Coleman-Fleetwood lawsuit fiasco).
