COst of replacement lift motor?

My wife left one of the latches attached and tried to lift up the top of our 07 Starcaft tent trailer. This has the motorized lift. I think she stripped the motor out, cause it is stuck up one notch and wont go up or down. Any idea what a dealer will charge to replace the motor?

If it is a Barker lift you may have just stripped a gear and not hurt the motor. Remove the back cover on the gear housing[four bolts] and you can see if a gear is stripped. Large gear can be removed by hand for inspection. I had to replace the large gear on my Barker lift last year after over 5 years and  of alot of use. It cost  $26.00 and I installed it my self.....
