not sure if anyone has had this problem,  we have a new pop up screen tent which we have tried unsucessfully to use the 4 steps directions for getting it back into the carrying bag,  we can get it down to the firure 8 but cant get it to the next step of 3 rings?

Not sure what you mean by figure 8's or 3 rings, but I have had a screeened room that came with me 97 Coleman Fanta Fe, and I have always just tried to fold it as best I could and roll it up tigt and it has always fit into the bag. I guess what I am saying is throw away the instructions and do whatever you have to do to make it work.

What he said.

Plus, make sure you are always folding the screen part "into" the canvas part. You just don't want any exposed screening in your completed bundle because it will easily tear.

I believe what rickhise is talking about is one of those pop up screen houses that you just open up that is like spring loaded. We have a smaller one that I got from Cabela's and it can be fun trying to fold back up if you have not done it for a while. I usually have the instructions in front of me when trying to fold it back up and just keep trying until I get it. Once I get it folded it always makes me wonder why I had such a hard time getting it folded.

That explains the figure eights and three rings. Can't help you with that one.

To get it back in the bag, you make it into a figure eight then fold the loops together while twisting the loop.  then you can figure eight it again and fold it once more.  Have someone hold the bag open the put it in as fast as you can before it pops open

Yeah, that's easier said than done.  I got one of those 6x6x6 rooms and broke more than a sweat and fingernails trying to get it into a circle to back into the bag.  I gave up, got it as close to a circle that I could, then binder-clipped it around the edge.  It will never go back in the carry bag again.
