What is your favorite camping activity?

What do you do while you are camping?  We love to hike.

DH's favorite camping activities are "caveman TV" (woodburning) and sipping a cold longneck libation, especially with friends.
My favorite camping activity is spending time with friends, old and new.

... campfire is a close second.  also try to bring canoe and sneak out in the AM for fishing as much as i can.  ...and the beer...:-()  there's always that.:-():-()

I was gonna say Hiking, but until they invent Hiking boots with a throttle, I'll stick with the ATV's.

well put, we're the same way.  If I really enjoyed being around lots of people, screaming kids, and barking dogs, then I'd just pull the popup in my backyard.   Come to think of it, we ONLY camp for the destination....

Although we've been camping lots in tents, this summer will be our first in PU...

Geocaching is probably our number one activity (includes exploring, hiking, schooling and generally being outside)

Second would be fishing....then swimming a close third...

Campfire is always a favourite too, particularly watching the little ones noddin' off, tired from the 3 things above

Nothing like chilling out by the ole campfire with a beverage.  Hiking is a close second, if I didn't drink too much by the fire the night before.

We like to hike, but I also like just sitting and relaxing - sometimes with a cold beer and a good book, sometimes with just the cold beer.

We go for both the campground and the destination; after all, we're still exploiring this part of the world we call home.

The main goal for me is that my sons who are 5 & 8 to have fun. They like to camp where they can ride bikes & explore nature and maybe do a little fishing.

We like exploring the area (both in the CG and the surrounding community).  We ride our bikes around, hike, swim, and yes even shop.

Other - We like to go to the beach.  We build sand castles, let the girls play in the water, hunt for Petoskey stones, and watch boats.  It's hard to beat watching the sun set over Lake Michigan just before walking back to the camper.

We always camp near water, so swimming, wading, kayaking, snorkling are our favoriate pasttimes!
