Finally bought one, now where to go?

So, last weekend my wife and I became the proud owners of an 07 Fleetwood E3.  We are extremely excited to use it.  We live in Southern California (Rancho Cucamonga) and would love to try it out near the beach but everything is booked for the next couple of months . :-(

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go?  Preferrably near the beach or mountains to avoid the heat.  I guess you have to book way in advance for the beach sites.

I highly recommend, "Camp Driveway" for the 1st outing.

Set the PU up and use it like you would if you were camping. It's best to work out the bugs at home where you are safe and comfortable (and PUT :p is nearby).

Often people have 1 or 2 bad camp-outs with things that they don't understand until they can come on PUT and ask questions. Often times, it's just something that they don't know how to work but they don't know it until they are out camping somewhere.

I am planning on setting the PUP up this weekend and going through operating each component, fridge, stove, hot water heater, etc.  I may even start the mods.  

I was actually thinking about going to a beach CG during the weekend of July 20 but there isn't anything available.  Is there an opening left for that trip that would acomodate an E3?
