My 11 year old has done the ropes course 4 different times...Both the low and high level.  My husband and I did it last year.  The zip line was the best for me and the hardest for my hubby (control issues--haha)  Everyone has to do it.  Great fun for all.  Looking forward to meeting some fellow tent trailer campers...

As mentioned in the Canyon RV Posting, we are heading up the ROPE COURSE on Sunday Morning at 10am.  It will be a warm weekend and we want to do this in the morning when the weather is still cool.  The Rope Course is something that will challenge you mentally.  It is not a physically challenging experience...this is what Rock City has to say about it:

RockCity's NEW High Ropes Course is the largest in Orange County. Our ropes course offers a series of supervised individual and group challenges that promote adventure, success, improved problem solving, teamwork, and the list goes on. It consists of 2 zip lines extending up to 277 feet each in length, and over 20 different challenges reaching a height of over 60 feet! We offer both high and low elements and tailor each program to the group. This WILL be one of your most memorable experiences ever!


We have made a reservation for 25 people (the minimum required to use the course), and we will need a confirmation that you want to do this by July 30th....this is not something that can be signed up for on the day of the event as we are not the only group that will have a reservation that day. The cost is $18/person. In March we were able to  watch 8-12 years old girl scouts challenge themselves and it's worth the $$$.  

I know the kids will all want to do this, so parents, please do it with them and share a wonderful experience!

Thank you everyone, we now have enough people to have Rock City come to the campground so we can do the rope course!  The cost is $18/person. It is now time to have everyone who signed up to send us payment. Please PM us for our address.

I just wanted to thank Brad and Mary for setting up the Ropes Course on Labor Day.  It was really hot but I take alot of pride in the fact that I had the fastest climbing record on the 60' height ever set on this course.  Not many of you know this but Ken, the training guy from the Rock climbing place was in awe of my climbing skills and asked me if I would be interested in taking on my own course and training people.  I told him I live too far and could not make it every weekend, but thanks. Again, thanks Brad and Mary.  If you guys ever need any extra training to bring yourselves to my level please, let me know.
