Lisa wrote back with the ..we are too busy, with soccer, school princesses..etc but Brandon is sooo up for it. I would rather camp with you guys somewhere than with the group going to San mateo. with the exception of Dave & Lori I think it would be boring..I would have way more fun even if was just us...unless it was Acton and the lawnmower man!!! LOL

I had thought about crashing your party and driving up for the day on Sat. but I made hair appts. for me and Kevin and a movie date with the kids on Sunday

I miss hanging out with you guys..I just felt like royal crap at flying flags and was just comepletely unsocialable.. I actually didn't start feeling better until 4th of July

Kara now has it and has been sick since last friday

BTW some of us are on Labor day are arriving on Wed. can you swing it? if not you will be there on thurs right?

I was thinking if there is less than 25 of us on wed I can reserve the gazebo at the swim club and we can all go on Thurs.

The waves crashing makes more noise than anything.  The 101 noise is non existant.  There are really not many trains that go by, and when they do, if they are Amtrak or Metro Link trains they are not loud at all.  The freight trains are pretty loud but there have only been a few of those.

You may be in the wrong occupation however,  I have not missed a day of work this week.  The CG is just a bit farther away from my office than I normally drive.  So I have thebest of both worlds.  I'm beach camping, an I don't use any vacation days.   It's all about he planning.

It's about 3 miles North of Ventura on the old PCH (1).  It's pretty cool.  Since I've been driving into work everyday I haven't really been able to enjoy the full effect of beach camping yet.  But that all ends today!

Nope.  Ventura to Valencia is only about 40 minutes
