We took delivery of our '97 Fleetwood Graphite on Saturday and went camping saturday night.  Had a GREAT time at the Gettysburg KOA, although we did managed to pick Motorcycle Weekend in Gettysburg, so of course every other rider had to run his very loud cycle up and down the road in front of the campground over and over again at 2am.  It was really loud, but we lived and the kids slept through it all.

The A/C works great and we're very happy with the bigger popup.  Sure beats the old '88 Palomino Shetland.

Congrats on the "new" pop-up. You picked a great place to shake it down.

I didn't know they were building the Graphite in '97.  I thought they came out in '05 or '06.

Congrats on the new-to-you camper and glad the weekend went well.  I feel  your pain with the motorcycles.

After travelling 2 days and 636mi to get to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, we were directly across the road from a large family group with barking dogs, a generator that ran a lot, and a huge computer/video game console that they loved to stand around playing and yelling about.  Might as well have just gone to the local lake and hung out with all the drunk boaters.

'97???  Wow...I guess I'm getting old.  I remember making fun of my parents for making mistakes like that.

It's an '07.

Congrats...Every now and then you'll have a trip where there are loud people. But most trips are much better, as you probably experienced with the Shetland.

Nice trailer. I've always kinda liked the Graphite color. Gives it a sporty look.

Glad you enjoyed your new Graphite.

We stayed in the Black Hills in 2001 during bike week ()a.k.a. Sturgis Rally).  There are so many bikers that show up for Bike week that all prices go up; it's even in most campground's proce schedule as a separate, week-long "season" with higher rates.  In any case, our campground made it clear that they did not tolerate motorcycle noise, and they meant it.  I never heard a single motorcycle ride through the campground.  Even when the bikers left in the morning, they would walk their bikes to the entrance and start them there.  I was impressed with the level of respect these cyclists had for the rules.

I hope you find many more pleasant camping experiences in the future.
