I have a 97 Coleman Westlake and the bag that is used to contain the awning when it is rolled up to the roof, needs to be replaced.  The material the zipper is made of has deteriorated.  Does anyone know if just the "zipper bag" can be replaced?  If so, who/where is a source for this?

I looked in the catalog of my local RV dealer but only saw complete awnings not just the bag.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The awning material is sewn right into the bag.

I just purchased a new awning on eBay:

It's a great awning at an unbelievable price.

If you'd rather just replace your awning material, I'll sell you my old one for $50 (Plus shipping around $20 FedEx Ground, to 08002). I took it off of my 2002 Coleman Tahoe and I believe that it is the exact same awning that you have on your Westlake. The bag and awning material are in good shape. I replaced it because the frame bent. However, I would highly recommend the one in that link. It's a far superior awning.

I'm starting to have the same problem.  After my next trip, I plan to take it to the local canvas shop.  I'm hoping they can just sew on a new zipper.

Same here....I'm saving that link for a little later...

Anyway, welcome neighbor!

What are your favorite camping spots?  We are tent campers that just moved on up to a pop up camper, always looking to hear about some new spots....
