Nascar Camping

I know its early, but has anyone dry camped at the Nascar race in Nov.
in Phoenix.?
We went to the race in April, and it looks like you can pretty much go anywhere you want to as long as it not reserved.  We would like to be
in the desert so its not so crowded.
