I'm thinking about getting some kind of E.R.S.  I'm not sure which one is best for me.  I need coverage for my pup, trucks, utility trailer and motorcycle.  Good Sam currently has a special for $89.95 for non members.  Is that a good service to join or not?  Any other suggestions?  Which E.R.S. group do you all belong to?

I belong to Good Sam, but have never had to use it. Have heard very few bad experiences with them.

We have had the Good Sam road service for several years and we have had great service the few times we've needed them.
Used to have AAA until I found out that if we needed a tow while on the road with our travel trailer, the trailer would have to be left on the side of the road.....I don't THINK so! They also charged extra to cover my DS and DD.
Good Sam will tow the trailer and tow vehicle (if needed), they cover my DS and DD (while they are still under my roof), and they are cheaper than AAA.
Good luck with your decission,
Cheryl

Good Sam ERS for us.  Had to use it a couple of times, excellent.

Question for the Good Sam'ers:  Do you keep the pledge you signed?

We have AAA+ RV.  We've used it for our autos (both of them), but never while towing.  Fast and reliable.  We used to also have Good Sam, never used it.

Same as AB -  AAA +RV

I don't know about others, but long before we became Good Sam members, we lived the pledge daily. My husband seems to "attract" people who are in need of help while we are traveling. We have given rides to stranded mothers with young children in the middle of an ice storm, we have provided jump starts to strangers in the middle of many a parking lot, and we've helped (and accepted help) from many new friends met in many campgrounds. We believe that what goes around comes around, and live our lives accordingly. We've found that most fellow travelers feel the same. It's what makes the "open road" so appealing. Camping helps us get out and about to meet other interesting people.
Happy camping,
Cheryl

I have RV Roadhelp through Allstate or KOA. Had a rear wheel lock up on my truck and they sent a flatbed for the truck and a pickup to tow my camper to the garage as well.

The KOA deal is better than buying direct from Allstate.

Good Sam is much cheaper for a wider range of coverage than AAA. All vehicles in a household and RV are covered for one price, $99.95 per year. AAA tries to justify their higher prices with discounts on lodging, car rental, travel, etc. These same discounts and better ones can be found in travel brochures and on the net.  While at a convention this year I found out that people who got an  AAA discount paid the same price per night as we did with no discounts at the same hotel..

That looks like a vote for Good Sam to me :D .

I went with the Good Sam deal.  I heard nothing negative about them.  Also, I like that they will cover everything parked in my garage.

We bought the RV policy with AAA - have not had to use it and curious if anyone else has?
Thanks
