We stayed at the "group site" at this CG this weekend for a church retreat. It is a very clean site - some of the cleanest pit toilets I've ever seen. Beautiful lake. Trees are a little sparse, but hey, this is AZ. Sites are spread out a bit which is nice. Each site has fire pit and cement picnic table.

It rained a bit on us which was wonderful. Went from 105 in Phoenix to 71 in Williams - 3 hour drive.

Lake is stocked with bass and trout I think. It is pretty muddy along the edges. Boat dock - motor (small) or no motor ok.

Williams is about 5 miles away.

No showers at the CG, but the Aquatic Center in Williams lets you shower for about 2.25 per person.

Any questions, let me know.

We stayed there a few years ago on our way to see the MIL. I agree - great campground! It was the first stop on the entire trip that felt like we were really camping.

I reserved the smallest group camp. There will be about 10 of us, says its up to 35 people at the campground. they have 30 amp service, so i can plug the trailer in.
Cant wait to catch some fish with the kids and catch the cardinals trainin camp (NFL) practices.
