The "What to serve with hamburgers" thread reminded me that I wanted to post this.  This is more of a main dish salad good for the first night out.  It will serve four, especially if everyone has a bread stick too.  Being cabbage based it keeps well.  Where a lettuce based salad will wilt into a soggy mess; this will hold up for a couple of days.

1 pkg Maruchan Ramen Soup, chicken flavor
24-32 oz cabbage, shredded
4 green onions sliced
1/2 C or one pkg slivered almonds
2 T sesame seeds
1/2 C oil
2 T toasted sesame oil (look for it in the aisian section)
3 T cider vinegar
2T sugar
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
2 chicken breasts, grilled and sliced (cook at home)

Break up noodles, combine with almonds and seasme seeds. toast in skillet until lightly browned.
Combine the sesame oil, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt pepper, and the seasoning packet from the soup in the measuring cup.
Toss the chicken, cabbage, noodles, sesame seeds, almonds and chicken with the dressing.
