Prez. Weekend Feb 15th-18th San Mateo

Would you believe it; it only took four hours to get home instead of six hours getting there! Our gridlock came at the exit for the L.A. Zoo! Trina and Theresa had a great time while I was nowhere to be seen! The trip with the dogs to the local beach was fun. There was a funny glow coming from the power plant!
 Trina want's to say thanks to Lori for the knitting lessons. To Carol for crochet lessons. I will let you know when she is done.
 The potlucks for this size group were great as always. Dan M. bought out the store on ribs and chicken!
 To Dee for the fuse's and the lube. We will leave that, at that! Thank you very much.
I will post some pictures in the next couple of days.
Looking forward to camping again with all you and NOT being sick!
PS, Kwisti, Theresa missed Matt! Glad they won their basketball game. You were also missed at the sewing circle.

I knitted all the way home thanks Lori for all the help.....I swear I have ten thumbs. Sue don't give up I'll bring some printed materials on crocheting to next campout for everyone that tried to learn "How" this weekend.......... This was a perfect weekend nice that Wayne and Carolyn stopped by......Now for that picture of me......Did you have to post it......?!!
Great weather except a little cold at night the pot luck food was super.....

We arrived home without a blowout....one to looking for new tires for the tt. DAve an Bryan repaired the bent stablizer.  I'm getting new glass cut for the refridgerator....So all is good.  We got home in by 12:00 cleaned the trailer from head to toe and drove to Ramona and had dinner with the kids...all is good with us..Hard to go back to work this morning.  But we are off again on Friday so a very short week.  Thanks to carol fro her patience I will keep trying..We had great food this last weekend and it was so much fun seeing everyone..I juist loved the campground,,,very nice we will try it again...

I was nice wavery stopped by to say hi, but I agree Carol didn't need the pics :J  anyway I ended up tearing out the whole thing I knitted as I made a big boo boo and couldn't figure out how to fix it :banghead:
Lori you will be proud..I figured how to cast on...the handout kinda made sense (I need Video) I made jack jump on and it seemed to work. I went to Michaels today and got shorter needles..and they were on sale

Fathers day at Pt magu I'm going to try crocheting..hmmmm maybe I should get me one of those fold up rocking chairs :p

Not sure what we expected on our first campout with SCCampers, we met good people, and DW and I shared quality time together for the first time in awhile. Looking forward to future campouts with you, the rallys that aren't booked already. Thanks for making us feel welcome.

bow chica bow bow... :U  glad you had fun and those rallys that are full get on the waiting list you never know, even if it's 3rd or 4th. a lot of times people have already made other plans. cancellations usually start appearing about a month before the rally

Griffsclan had a great time and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Mid-February and getting sunburned at the beach while you watch your crazy kids play in 55 degree water--it doesn't get any better than that. We definitely pulled a fast one on the camping gods who, based on this week's forecast, obviously thought we were camping this upcoming weekend instead of last one!
 
Lois and Howard--it was great to meet you. I'm glad that you're still keen to come camping with us!
 
Stue--I realize now that I think I saw you at the potluck dinner and then never got a chance to talk with you. Thanks for joining us anyway and I hope to see and talk with you at future rallies!
 
And to the rest of the usual suspects--as always, good friends, good food, good fun.

Actually, I'm very proud of you. It seems like such an old lady thing to do, but knitting (and crocheting) actually is fun to do and whiles away the time sitting at doctor offices, dentist offices, dump lines...
