I did some dry camping this weekend at Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe CA.  It was awesome.  One cool thing was that the camground sites there weren't big enough for anything bigger than a PU.  So I only saw about 3 or 4 PU's and everyone else was tent camping.  This made me proud to have a PU and not something bigger.  If I had anything other than my PU I wouldn't have been able to stay at this beautiful park.

Wow!  I love Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe.  I'll bet that was fantastic.  Did you have to make reservations or was it first come, first served?

We made reservations way back in April and felt lucky to get a weekend.  Even weekday spots are hard to come by.  We will likely go back next year or may try DL Bliss which is right down the road and maybe even nicer!
