Awnings on both sides?

Has anyone put another awning on the back side of their PU?  Is it possible?

Sure is. A lot of folks that upgrade their awnings take the old ones and move them to the street side. All it takes is a new awning C channel rail, a few screws, and some caulk.
Some PU's come with a street side rail already from the factory so it's a 2 minute job installing an awning.

I do, I put a narrow awning on the backside ( 4'x12'). It allows me to keep the windows open in a rainstorm and also blocks the sun which came in handy when we went out west and there were NO trees. It is definitely worth the extra few minutes setting up.

I recently saw an older Jayco PU with a door on both sides.  They put a screenroom on one side and a regular awning on the other.

Now that would be one strange PU :yikes: . Not only would the extra door take up cabinetry space but it would significantly compromise the strength of the trailer. They must have beefed up the frame on that model.

I want to add a 2nd awning as well, I'm just waiting for one of these folks that hate their original awning to cut me a really good deal.

Yes people have put a second awning on their camper.  I have been looking for a 10 foot Fleetwood Sunshade to put on the back side of my PU for several years.:)
