I went to walmart today and found this fan on clearance for $20.00, thats right 20 dollars. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260134378724
I found it in the inside garden area, they had about 30 of them. I bought 2 of them. I couldn't believe the price...........Ed C.

Holy Cow!  Tell me more about it.  Does dual power mean batteries and 120v?  Or 120v and 12v?  Or.......?

If I can't find them at my local store, any chance I could talk you into sending me one or 2?  I'm in southern CA and could email you a FedEx Ground shipping label that you could slap on the box.

I checked it out and it and its only 120v, no batteries. It is the HV-120 model.
Its in a good size box that weighs about 12 to 14 lbs., i'd have to weigh it. the box size is 28"L x 10"W x 15"H. If you cant find them at your Walmart at this price I would be willing to pick them up for you and mail them as long as our Walmart doesn't run out .......This is a great deal on the fans..........Ed C.

Dual: is twin fans with individual controls with 3 speed settings for each fan

If that guy on eBay is getting 79 bucks for each fan, he is making a killing! I looked for these at Walmart today, as I am interested in another fan. They are normally priced at 29.97, so that is only 10 bucks off the normal price. Yes, it is 33% off, but still only a savings of 9.97.

I still considered getting one. However, the one they had on display had pretty chintzy knobs. They would "skip" and even fall off. I decided to walk away, and wait for a better fan.

Thanks for the heads up, though.

Mine seems pretty rugged, no problems with the knobs. I will use mine in my workshop and for drying the carpets when I clean them..........Ed C.

Maybe the knobs on the display model had been abused. It was up high, so I don't think kids did it, at least little ones. Glad you find yours useful. :)

Thanks Ed!
I'm checking our Walmart this morning. Our new trailer doesn't have ducted air like our Jayco did so I'm thinking this would help cool it down quicker. When are we camping together again?

Hi Kristi, I was hoping to go camping with all of you this year, but kathy is starting her New Job at the MGM Monday Aug. 20th.  She cant wait, she hated working at the bank. So for now camping is up in the air for now...........

Thanks for the info on the fan.  I don't want anything that's 120v because I don't plan (or want to) camp plugged in.  It's just too much fun to see what we can do with just our battery, a propane tank and some D-cell stuff.

Sure is a nice looking fan though!  Be fantastic if it ran on a handful of D-cells like Walmart's $13 "O2Cool" 10in. fan that we bought.
