Yikes! :yikes: I almost forgot to post: We're having another raffle to raise money for our group projector!

The raffle was a great success at the June rally, and we raised $285 toward a projector for SCCampers rally movie nights. Another $300 ought to do the trick, and maybe even get us a real screen so that Brandon doesn't have to work his magic with plastic tarps and tape! ;)

DONATIONS ARE DESIRED!!

At the June raffle, we had wine, DVDs, wine, camping accessories, wine, DO cooking stuff, and the like. :D We even had a 50/50 raffle which worked out well. The more items we have the more fun it is and the more money we can raise to meet our goal more quickly. We did realize that there could have been more kid-oriented things at the last raffle, so keep that in mind if you'd like to donate something. Just keep in mind it's a raffle, not a garage sale. :)

(Dee-can you please bring the raffle tickets again? Gracias, mia hermana!):sombraro:

P.S. Brad and Mary, I still have your winnings from the June raffle. Hope you needed 2 DO lid lifters...if not, I know of a good cause to whom you can donate the one you don't want...;)

I can't decide if we should donate wine or just give it to Lisa and watch the show.

Boys between 6 and 13 are eligible, as long as the wine goes with them for the "winner"

That's almost enough for the replacement lightbulb, (have you ever had to replace one)?;)   Now to get the projector!:)

WooHoo!! Time to clean out the garage for donation stuff!!  Hmm?  How much is a slightly scratched old 200 gallon fishtank with stand worth?  A rusty skeet launcher that I always trip over?  Those groovy old lawn chairs that are taking up sooo much room!! :-()  Just kidding!!  I'll bring something new still in it's original packaging.

I love BIG projector screens!  A neighbor picked up one of these screens on Ebay.  Kinda like a mini Newport Dunes! :D   Or, this is always an option ! ;)

That would be nice! (not the $7,000 one-a bit too pricey)  Brandon wouldn't have to mess with making it anymore. Maybe that could be the next thing to get.

Freedom_5

We have asked Theresa to come up with a couple of things to donate to the cause. This is what she has for girls, ages 6 and up.
  1. Beaded flower pot kit. By Roseart. A craft item to decorate terra cotta pots with beads.
  2. 3-D Dream Catchers. Makes 3 different dream catchers.
Neither of these items have been openned.

We will also bring other goods for the raffle.

TheViking

Ah yes, The Raffle-  Definition of "Raffle" -  1. A way to re-gift without really re-gifting.2.  A way to clean out the clutter.

Our neighbor down the street said you have to have a really good sound system...as the blow up ones are loud---like a bounce house.  I have no clue.
