Ugh!!!!

Our TV ('04 Buick Rendezvous) is in the shop.  

Apparently, the fellow at our local Fleetwood dealership installed the brake controller wrong, and the wire got wrapped around the windsheild wiper motor which after a month took it out, and through some sort of chain reaction melted a ground wire and proceded to take out the cars  lights, A/C, and lord knows what else.  What a mess.  The wiring harness alone will run around $600, plus the labor to go through everything else.  So far, everything is working again, except the A/C which cannot be tested until the new wiring harness is in place.  

The Fleetwood dealer has agreed to pay for all of the repairs.  I'm surprised...it's been a month and he started to suggest that someone else had been under the hood playing (no, nobody was).  I thought for sure I was going to have to hire a lawyer.   This dealership has a great reputation and I was glad to see them stand by their work.  Everyone makes mistakes.

Everyone makes mistakes, but it takes integrity to own up to to your mistakes.
