Hello to all! We are long time tenters and backpackers. We recently purchased our 1st pup. At first,I couldn't see owning a "tent trailer". My wife grew up pup camping with her family.Needless to say,she talked me into it.I'm so glad she did! Many of our friends have hard side trailers. While they are very nice,I just didn't have the feeling of camping. With our pup,I get the best of both worlds.I absolutely love it! As we are new to pups,we have many questions.I've been checking out arveeclub for some time now,and have learned tons. But most of all,I feel really comfortable spilling my guts and asking my questions.Looking foreward to learning more from you good folkes!
Nites out since the 1st of june: 17
       7 nites full hookup
      10 nites DRY

Thank you for the welcome! We REALLY love camping.Just getting outdoors in general.I suppose the 7 nites in Grand Teton N.P. (Colter Bay C.G.) took us over the top. We still have several 2 niters and a 4 niter planned before the end of November.Camping is so much easier to do when everything is packed up and ready to "roll"!

yeah its like i told our friends, well we hardly ever see them anymore(were always gone), I didn't buy it to sit at the end of the driveway!!! congrats on the new pup, we got ours the first of june as well, and it has only been in the driveway one w/e. The kids had to sleep out in it that w/e too :)   matter of fact i have to go get it ready for a four day w/e. We are currently at 24 nights, only 4 of them are dry, my wife doesn't like the whole no ac thing  :)

Congrats on the score of the Rockwood. We looked at the same unit here in Utah. We really liked it,but,it sold before we made our decision. We had that experience with 3 other trailers,so,frustration wore in,and,we bought new.DW likes to have her AC also. The majority of our dry camping is in high altitude forests. For example,in July,it was 102 at our house. An hour drive to our camp site,it was 78. However, just in case,we purchased 2 Honda eu2000i gens and a parrallel power kit. We've used the 2gen setup 2times. The rest of the dry camps just 1gen.
