has anyone been here before want to go this weekend

in that area doesnt have to be koa.

I've stayed there a few times...last time was about 6-8 months ago.  If you want the amenties of pool (defininte must in the summer IMO) and hot tub .. it works.  We were in a center aisle and it was cheek to jowl.

Other pros: it's only a short drive to the canoe/kayak put-in and there's an outlet mall across the street!  Short drive to the beaches.

Collier Seminole State Park is nearby but no swimming - yes boating - and since it's the holiday weekend ...lotsaluck.

there's also a koa on pine island.  haven't been there but you could take a ferry trip to Cayo Costa.
