Need Ashville NC area site recommendations

Looking for recommendations for nice campsites in the Ashville NC area during the last week of October.  We have small children so the site must be child friendly.  Thanks

We loved Moonshine Creek Campground. The sites were a bit smallish thought, and I don't know what rig you have. It was fine for the two of us. The site we had was #13, I believe. Some of the sites may have been a bit bigger. You can also see pictures of our trip there at our pictures website. Sorry...we were using a cheap camera.

Asheville was probably less than an hour away. We toured the Biltmore and other places while there, and then drove the "back" way to Townsend for 3 more nights at a campground.

Having said all this, it has been about 4 years since we went. They had lots of tent sites under construction, and it appeared it would be a nice area.

I wonder if anyone lives close by there, and could go check it out now. Anyone? Anyone?
