Newbie to Pop Up Times

I just came across this web site after I googled pop up camper. What a great site!!!! I live in the Southern Cal. area and would like to join one of your camping trips, but it looks like everything is full till spring. I will keep checking this site. Jan and Feb. are out for now. We have a 2000 Coleman Utah that we just purchased and have been camping one time. I have a lot of questions, and I hope that I don't sound too stupid when I ask for advice. Thanks

I believe there is a site available in November for Campland....

Thanks everyone. I feel at home already. I'll talk with the Mrs and the kids about Campland. I was stationed at North Island while I was in the Navy and we camped there a few times and had fun. Thanks again.

 You have found us! Now you need to join us for a campout or rally. Words of advice. You need to check the posts of SCCampers every day. It is very common that a rally comes up and in a matter of hours we are booked up!  As more people find us and come camp with us the bigger the family gets!
  Also you must learn the words of the Sccampers rally song and sing it at your first camp out with us.
  Bring lots of firewood too! What is your kids ages? Where about in Southern Calif. ? Most of the group centers from the South. We are fun loving group and enjoy camping.

Welcome.  A couple things you should know.  Always bring firewood to a campout, and if you leave the CG to go somewhere and Freedom5 says follow me, might not be a good idea.  Stick to that and you will be fine.

One more thing......be careful sitting in Viking's camp chairs.....they are unstable :p

Griffsdad aint all that.  I buried him last weekend in  Poker and I'll bury him  again next time.  I just lose to him from time to time to keep his money coming.
