Christmas is just around the corner and it's time to get ready to decorate the outside of our houses. Saturday I stopped at a New Lowes by my in-laws house and I was checking out the Christmas stuff and came across a gun type light tester called the "LIght Keeper PRO", http://www.lightkeeperpro.com/    I've seen them on the QVC Channel for $19.82, and at Ace True Value and Home Depot for $20.00, well I paid $4.24 for this one. I went back today to get another one just to have a back-up and it's still $4.24, i dont know if it's mis-marked or what, but i wasn't about to ask. If anyone is interested check the price at your Lowes and if its not this price let me know and i will pick some up and mail them out. I love to go all out when I do my outside lights and i do get that Christmas feeling.....HoHoHo.....  :sombraro: Grizzly Santa

There's a 8 minute Video at the Light Keeper Pro web site that explains how it works, This thing is really worth having!!!!!

Another makework device (or a solution in search of a problem).

I pay less than $2 for a string of Christmas lights.  Once you are done with all the fiddling with taking the bulb out, testing it to find it's not the bad one, and putting it back in to try another, I'd rather just chuck the set and buy a new one.  I typically get 5-6 years out of a $2 light set, so I'm in no hurry to have one of these even if it were free.

Austin check out the 8 min. video at the web site, you can find a bad bulb in one try with this tester. It's the best tester i've ever seen for the job. I have the little pen type testers that take time to find a bad bulb, i'm throwing all those in the garbage. I have over 20 thousand lights and i'm not kidding, so this will really help me.........Ed
