Quote from: Freedom_5Hey girlfriend!
Aren't you doing a craft project for the kids this year? Something to do with pumpkins? So you can not make it! I don't think so!
As far as the rally goes Its always fun to do! I will be updating every few weeks unless something major comes up.
Huh? What?  If you asked for my help at the campfire, then it doesn't count since I don't remember!!!!  Only joking!

I will PM you about the craft!  I think I said we were going to do pumpkin decorating, right?

kimrb266

We're still in for the rally.

We are going to Riley's Farms the Oct 3-5 which is a wonderful place to go in the fall.   Maybe if those who are attending like it, maybe we can change venue and try something new and maybe stay at Yuciapa Regional Park which is only 5 or 8 miles from the farm.

I'm not trying to ruffle your feathers, it's just a recommendation.

 Girlfriend:
Look what I found today since I wasn't at work either. It was your posting #35.
 A quote from kristi M.
"Just a thought to change it up a bit this coming year....what if we combined the "craft" and the pumpkin patch idea and came back from the patch and had a pumpkin carving contest. We would still decorate sights, but have the "family" contest focus on Jack o' Lanterns? I'll organize it if you all like the idea. (But you won't hurt my feelings if you don't!)"
This would be a fun craft. For the younger kids do maybe something like the Mr. Potatoe head idea of decorating their pumpkins. Your PM is a sound idea! It needs family participation, pumpkins and patience!

Very cool - that cracks me up.  I vaguely remember posting that in the "after-glow" of last year's rally.  Now, I'm just trying to survive the run to the finish line for the school year!!!

Now, I was taking a mental health day to prevent going completely cuckoo at work...what's your excuse?:eyecrazy:

 Kristi,
I am never one to whine about my health but this past week has been not good! I have deveolped a case of "gout" in my right knee cap. Very painful. As some one told me the other day, Im falling apart! I have been out of work since last friday! That's my excuse. I am on the mend and eating lots of dried cherries seems to work the best!
So to all who read this, don't worry about me. If you want to say a prayer, include my Father-in-law Dann. He just had one of his kidneys removed on Monday. He is 85! He is in intensive care at Torrance memorial. Hopefully he gets out of the hospital on Saturday.

DO I detect a play on words: "THAT"  refers to the one I mentioned but also implies that you bought something else?
Also your signature is lacking! None of your bikes are listed in your signature! What's up man?
