Quote from: Freedom_5A crafty idea!

Kristi Mennell is doing a pumpkin carving project. More details to come from Kristi.

I want to add in another small project. If any of you use roll on anti-perspirant please bring two empty bottles for each child who wants to take part in this craft. They must be dried out by craft time! The bottles must have the small round ball as an applicator. The product "dry idea" is probably the best for this craft.
The kids are going to make "eye balls". :yikes:
Okay -
I know I posted it before, but I have no time to find it...my idea is on Saturday to decorate pumpkins.  We'd meet at a location and have fun carving/decorating pumpkins.  I'm not sure how many are interested because if people are going out to the pumpkin patch and then coming back, I'm wondering if the day will be too packed, ya know? (Breakfast...going to a patch...costume contest...trick or treating...dinner potluck) Having said that...if we had enough interest, people would bring their pumpkins (one per person or kid or family...whatever) and we'd have various craft items and paint for decorating.  IF you have a cool idea, you can bring your own items from home (i.e. pumpkin costumes) and, of course, good ol' carving is great, too.  Then at night, we'd have a fun display.

Anyone game or is it just one more thing? (be honest - I could go either way!!!!)

p.s. Wagonmaster - you may want to make a thread and have Lori lock it that lays out the weekend's activities once a decision is made...just a thought.

 Kristi,
As always, if we plan it,, they will come! I have been thinking about the idea of a poll to see what others might like! It's a good start for coordinating all ideas.
At the moment, Im seeing a small percentage of our group that have sent me their money for the deposit. I don't want to Scare
anyone but the days are slipping by and there are familes that are on the waiting list.
Im going to need input from everyone as well as judges and volunters.

cjpoppin

Bob do you want the whole amount now??  Or just a Deposit?  Please let me know I've looked through everything and written you emails and no answer yet!!

How is Jim doing? Did you get to the doctors and pull their chain for a knee replacement?

Attention Scary SCCampers

Here is a basic idea of Saturday the 25 of Oct.

Pancake Breakfast @ 9:00 am at the clubhouse above Birch.
Everyone is on their own from there.
New idea for a place to go for pumpkins is Faulkner farms.
   Craft Project by Kristi M. & Bob G. @ 1:30 pm.
Trick or Treating @ 3:30 pm.
Costume contest after that at the main campfire. Remember to bring a "prize" for each child in your family so no one is left out.
Group picture before dinner @ 5:30 pm.
   Potluck dinner @ 6 ish.

After potluck the judging of the Trailer Decorating will commence!

I am looking for 2 volunters who can't be bribed or bought to judge the trailers and the costume contest!

It would probably be a good idea to pm me if you want the job's so we can keep your identity a secret!

Remember we are 1 week later this year and daylight savings time is Nov. 2nd this year.

To round out the night, Lori (Griffsmom) will be reading scary ghost stories at the campfire after the potluck.

    Scary kids movie inserted here!

Then it's the parents turn to just chill out and enjoy!

Any thoughts or changes are welcomed. It's your time with your kids.
Also there is the Other Pumpkin farm that I have a link to on page one.
