I will be having to do some work in Jacksonville over the next month.  Away from the family most of the week.  I thought about bringing them down to camp for one of the weeks.  That way I could see them at night and they could have fun during the day.  I see 2 campgrounds near the beach, (Hanna Park Campground and  Little Talbot Island State Park) any info about these or any others in the area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't been to either, but try RVparkreviews.com for several reviews on Hanna (choose Jacksonville as your city). Little Talbot doesn't have any reviews at that site. But usually if you will Google "Little Talbot Island State Park reviews" you will get several hits of sites where reviews have been written, and when.

I tried it myself, and there was one thorough review written on epinions.com. I didn't look any further.

Happy hunting!

We stayed at Hannah Park for one night a few years ago and found it to be a very nice park.  Shaded and good sites.  Really didn't have much time to explore all of the park since our time was short.

If I remember right, this is a popular park and getting reservations may be tricky.

If a commute is possible, take a look at Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine.

Very nice park well shaded and clean bathrooms.  Nice beach but a bit of a walk from the cg.  Not all that far from downtown St. Augustine attractions.
