It is interesting to hear the campground owners and dealer's side of the story.

During a trip to a State Park campground, in a forested mountain area of Missouri, I witnessed a nearby Class A camper as he pulled a gasoline powered leaf blower from his basement storage area.  He proceeded to blow all of the leaves away from his campsite!

My fear is that to attract and satisfy demanding RV'ers and chase the money they are willing to spend, both private and public campgrounds will begin to look and sound like manicured mini-subdivisions.  More traditional campers, seeking to get away from it all and get closer to nature might find the small, shaded, quiet camping spot harder to find.

Actually that does not surprise me too much about the large expensive owners who are a pain.

Typically those of us who own pop ups and other small campers love the OUTDOORS.  That's why we have a PU to enjoy nature and the outdoors.

I think some folks with large rv's have forgotten that simple pleasures:
1. smell of a campfire.
2. cooking over a grill outside.
3. going on hikes, bicycle rides, swimming, etc.
4. Doing things with your family such as teaching a love and respect for nature with your kids.  

Those are some of the reasons I bought a PU.

I think there are plenty who have not forgotten...they never did know in the first place.  They went straight from the office or factory to the RV, with nothing in between.  Not tenting, no hiking, no skiing, no fishing, no bird wathcing, etc.  Since they never have stopped to smell the flowers, they don't realize that it's even possible.
