2008 Vacation

Were planning a vacation to go to Myrtle Beach. Just wanted to know if anybody ever camped at Pirateland or  Myrtle Beach Travel Park. I would like to know what campground you liked and what spots you would recommend? Thanks Ronnie

I've heard that PirateLand ok but I think I read that Myrtle Beach Travel Park is not a really nice place. They have something like 300 sites so it's all about quantity and no quality. Come over to SouthEastern PopUp Campers at //www.sepuc.com/forum and check with our other members. I know a lot of them have been there and some live up that way.

I have heard great things about both campgrounds.

Myrtle Beach travel park is in the north of myrtle beach, Pirateland is in the south of myrtle beach.  Staying at either one would be okay.  My preference would be MB travel park, because that is the part of MB I personally like to stay in.  They also have extremely nice/clean and new bathrooms, not sure about Pirateland facilities.
