Anyone have any interest In Leo Carrillo SP for New Years??

There are 42 sites available for Dec 29-31.

Our plans fell through so we're going camping......

Here's some shots from last year.

It's dry camping at Leo Carrillo. There are showers and water is available. Most sites are well back off of the road. there are some really cool hikes and a beautiful beach. We're taking our surf fishing gear too. :sombraro:

STUE

we reserved a spot at San Clemente SB Jan 1-3, will be first outing in our camper. What do you sail and where? I sail a beach cat at Claremont Surf/Sail launch in Long Beach.

Hello STUE,

Wavery sails those big things with one hull! :p

I used to sail a beach cat out of Claremont, I live nearby.  However, I have not launched my boat in a while.  I'm waiting for my kids to proficiently swim in the ocean before taking it out.  That's the main reason I started PopUp camping!

I'd love to go camping for New Year's, but I gotta be at work on January 2!

Somehow, I missed this post....sorry :( ....didn't mean to be rude.

I haven't been sailing much since we started camping. I had a Passport 45 ketch but I sold it in 2000. I lived on her for 14 years and sailed her around the world a couple times though.

Have fun in San Clemente. We are leaving for Leo Carrillo in the morning and will be back Tuesday.

Anyone that wants to is welcome to drop buy for a visit...... :sombraro:
