I got an iPod Nano for Christmas. I can easily load my music, but I am looking for a free book download website, particularly for the classics that I can listen to while running. (Yes, I know....running AND listening to a book sounds like torture, but I enjoy that multi-task).

Does anyone know of a good site? I've found one that has iPod compatible books, but it is very limited in its selection. (Heidi? Heidi?)

I know it's a bit more work, but you could go to the library & check out books they have on CD & download them.  I've done that & it works just fine.

True enough, but since I'm Daddy DayCare now, even on my days I'm at home, that is difficult.

So far, the only one I've found, and it doesn't work all the time, is http://freeclassicaudiobooks.com/

While it's not free, I became addicted to Audible a few years ago when I had to sit in rush-hour traffic during my commute to and from work.

Larry, there are some really great books on this list! Have you read The Prisoner of Zenda? How about The Man Who Was Thursday? Those are a couple of my all-time favorite books. Thanks for sharing the site. I'll prolly download them to my iPod too.
