This is my first post but I have lurked for better than 7 years.  I have a 1991 Flagstaff by Cobra and the side panel of the roof where the awning is attatched has come apart from roof and obviously is leaking.  This is a repair we are going to tackle in the spring but thought I could get some feedback to keep me going until spring.  Does anyone know if my roof construction is similar to those of any other brands so I may learn from their wisdom and experience?  Also I need a manual for the trailer as it was purchased used about 8 years ago.  Thanks for any help out there!

WoW! That's what i call LURKIN!! :) It's nice to see you posting.
Anyhow, I have a 2004 Forest River Flagstaff 625D, so it is probably different.
If it's the same, there are PVC trim strips on the corners, glued-on, and the panels are fiberglass.
I wish i could help you, but I am very new to popups. But i know how you could perhaps waterproof it.
I would remove the awning completely, and use some  eternabond tape and tape-over the seam for your trip. Once I got back to it in the spring, I would just remove the eternabond and dig-in. Also, put a spot of silicone or 3M  #5200 marine sealant in each of the awning screw holes.
