I ordered my Yamaha 2400 from wise sales on the 20th and it got here today. I prepped it and had it humming out in the yard, ran my Honda 1000 next to it and walked away and surprising enough I could hear the Honda over the Yamaha but this of course with no load on either one. I will know more after a season of field testing. The Yamaha will handle my A/C just fine  :)

We purchased a new Honda 2000 late last year and couldn't believe how quiet it was.  Congrats on your new purchase.   I  hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours.

I'm ready to purchase the same generator. If you don't mind sharing...what did it set you back?  :yikes:

Thanks,

If you live near a Cabela's, they have the Yamaha for $1,099 right now.  It's cheapest if you pick it up at the store because they have free shipping for in-store pick up.  Just another option.

We have had this generator for about 2 years now and it has been wonderful. It saved our long Thanksgiving weekend with no hookups because our batteries decided to only hold a partial charge after the first night so we were able to recharge the batteries in the day to keep up with our furnace demands at night.
