Ok we MIGHT be in for this.  That is the weekend before school starts so it would be my last hurra.

Your good-times pics didn't work, but I found the others in your other album...Looks like a nice spot.  No hook ups though right?  Might bee fun.  I will check with the boss...

OH WHAT SITE # are you in??

No hook-ups :sombraro: . There are water faucets about every 100' on the other side of the road. If you're close enough, you may be able to run a hose from your camper (across the road) to fill up. There are clean pit toilets but no showers.

Sites are 1st-come/first-serve. The first one there (probably me) will just have to put items in open spaces, as close together as possible.

I just signed up for two nights, arriving Friday!  WooooHoooo, right ON the beach!  The kids will like that!

Azusateach

I'm there, too.  I've always wanted to try it, it's going to be hotter than blazes, and I can't imagine a much cooler place to be than RIGHT on the ocean -- hook-ups or not.  And boy, is it cheap!  Only $15/night.

I'll already be in school, so probably won't be able to get there much before dinner, but I'll try.  So save me a spot, okay?

C'mon, guys, who (besides Dee) doesn't want to spend a nice weekend on the beach?

OK Laura ...don't fall over but I'm very seriously thinking about going :yikes:

with all that sand Kara will be in Heaven  :yikes:..  I hate sand  :banghead:

I almost booked it just now and I was going to go out on a limb and book up to 8 sites (yes ther is a way to do this) but my concern is....

driveway length..31 ft. my trailer is 30' without the TV

is it 31ft total or 31ft trailer + TV??

when I was a kid our trailer was 21 ft and It seems to me that the trailer & car just fit

also is there a dump station? I didn't see it in the description.  I'm thinking about coming in on Thurs the 28th (the 27th is Kevins Bday) I would like to come in on Wed, I'm just concerned about my tanks and stuff lasting that long

wavery:  I'm pming you my number..It's 3 am now so 10 am is a good time to call :eyecrazy:  there still is 37 sites open

Dee4j

ok. it's 3:30 am..Have you ever been almost asleep and a great Idea hits you? well I'm outta bed posting :screwy:

since Laura posted the sites are cheap at $15/night, I could book 2 ...one for the trailer and one for the TV. If anyone else has this issue also, we can split the cost of the one site and put both TV's there.

wavery still call me so I don't forget..the kids are usually are on the computer in the morning and my brain doesn't really start functioning until 9 PM :yikes: (what function it has ;) )

if it looks like it's booking up you can call me earlier, but I take no responsiblity for my attitude :p
Dan says " I'm a beaming ray of sunshine" in the morning....

Dee4j

add Dee4j & Viking to the list..Thurs-Mon

I got 3 sites so we have room for the TV's and Dan's car

Carol...better start working on those team uniforms :J

34 sites left

Dee,

You are too funny  :J

Most of the sites are 40+' long (I measured them). We have seen HUGE 5th wheels in there and they park the TV perpendicular (with drive wheels on the pavement and the other wheels in the sand). Our trailer is 24' open and I have parked our trailer and 2 cars in our space with no problem. In the pic below, the M/H has his rear bumper right on the line for his space. As you can see, there is room for us to park a 3rd car in our space.

Pt Mugu is actually 2 CGs. Sycamore Cove (the other CG) is across the road and down about 1/2 mile. That is where the dump station is. If you have a receipt for Thornhill Broome you can use their dump station.

Now Dee it's my understanding that we are learning to Knit so we all can make our own uniforms......?????  Matching of course.......
Hopefully our grandkids are coming in for this campout......They start school the first of Aug. Really cuts the summer camping.....Yuck.....But at least it's a long weekend......
