KOA free night

KOA is offering a free night May 10th as long as you stay friday the 9th.  If anyone is interested.  We may do the san diego KOA, it has always interested us, but we haven't tried it yet.

I wanted to sign up, but it falls on my DD's birthday and Mother's Day weekend.  They threw pillows at me when I suggested it!!:yikes:

The Chula Vista KOA is conveniently located if you indend to do the touristy San Diego thing.  They keep the pool, restrooms, spa and showers clean.

This could be one of your last opportunities to visit that KOA.  It's been sold to developers who intend to build a Townhouse and Condo development.

We camped there for the free night in May 2 years in a row.  The campground is great.  Well worth it.  Last year we did differnt KOA.

This year we haven't yet decided if we can camp that weekend, I may go to Sacramento during the week for the police officers memorial ceremonies.

OK we reserved one site for us and a cabin for friends with no RV.  Should be fun.  Sorry to hear they are closing, it looks like a nice place.

This is actually a nice campground and the kids love the pool.  I've tried in the past getting a rally going at this time but no one was interested because it's Mother's Day weekend.  We probably won't go because traffic is tremendous going into San Diego.
