Repairing a broken brake safety switch cable

The actuator cable going to our 'breakaway' switch is no longer connected to our 'breakaway' assembly.  Any advice on how to repair would be appreciated!

You can buy an new cable with the plug (the piece that pulls out attached) at an RV dealer or you can buy a new cable and attach it to the plug.  If you buy new cable make sure you crimp it tightly so the cable can't pull out.
