Lube job on pop up

There are two zerks on the center tube of my pop up to grease the lift cable. Starcraft also provides a hole in the cable tube elbows at each corner to add grease there. Here's the problem. The cable inside the tube is flush to the hole and blocks grease from entering. I have a tapered fitting on my grease gun that seals to the hole but no amount of pressure will force grease into the tube at this point.
Question: Has anyone solved this problem? (Note use of word "solved." :))

Starcraft has an excellent technical support department.  Give 'em a call: (260)593-2550

Maybe those corner areas don't take grease at all, but instead take silicone spray lube?

Are you sure the tapered fitting on your grease gun is flowing grease? A grease gun can make a couple thousand pounds of pressure, so it would seam like grease would just start pushing out of that hole if it weren't able to go in.

Oh, yes, the grease oozed out around hole but none entered.

The manual says to grease the cables at each corner. I use silicone on the lift posts themselves.

I'll use the number, thanks.
