Two things that are important to my little Starcraft ...

1): Although I do not have A/C, the camper is set-up for having it, including a 110V, 20 amp outlet, especially labeled for the A/C to be plugged into. This is the outlet where I plug in my Pelonis heater.

2): If I have to run an extension cord to the PU, say for example the 30 amp camper power cord is not long enough, I make sure that cord is at least capable of handling 20 amps.

Which breaker blew? The one in the house or the one in the PUP?
How many amps do the heater and blanket use?
What is the rating of the breaker that is blowing?

Thanks for the responses. I dragged the PUP closer to the house and so the power cable would reach and everything seems to be working fine now.

I never thought a 1984 POS (pile of surprises) would get me excited but I can't wait for our maiden voyage next weekend. We are heading to Douthat state park for a weekend of MTB riding.

If all goes well the following weekend will be Sherando Lake.

It's amazing how pup's seem to bring out the child-like excitement and enthusiasm in us regardless of our age. Just because we get older it doesn't mean that we have to grow up! :Y

Enjoy your maiden voyage.
