Just back from 4 nights at Frontier Town - one of our favorites (near Ocean City, MD).  Weather was great Thurs night-Sat night, then rain on & off Sun and of course we had to pack up to leave in the rain Monday. The kids had a great time riding bikes & fishing off the pier (even though all they caught were seashells).  I was surprised how empty it was, but I guess its early in the season.  It was kinda creepy our PUP was the only camper in our section Sun night.  We're heading to Fort Whaley (owned by same company) over Mother's Day w/e.  Anyone ever been there?

Never been to Fort Whaley, but camped at Frontier Town last summer and are heading back again this summer for our big vacation. If you have kids, want to stay near the ocean, and live on the East Coast, this place can't be beat, IMO. Can't wait to go back again this year, and here's to better weather this year!! Even though the weather sucked last year, we are heading back because of the atmosphere, things for kids to do, beach, etc.

I would recommend this campground to anyone that wants alot of family activities.

I went 2 years ago. The campground was clean and well kept. When we went it was quite busy and the pool was packed so we went down to Frontier Town to go swimming since they are owned by same people you can get a braclet to swim there for free. I thought that was cool other than that we stayed in a travel trailer when we were there and there wasn't much shade but pop up and tent sites were all shaded. Have fun

Wow, we were there too!!  We saw your pop up all by itself!!  We were in site #W18 - we had the Jayco hybrid.  We arrived there Saturday night and then the rain came!  It was so windy and rainy, I thought our bunk end was going to fly off!  On Tues or Wed the sun came out but it was cold the rest of the week.  We were surprised as well how deserted everything was!!  Nothing was open and there wasn't much to do, but I can see how it would be really great in the summer.  We really liked the campground.  We left on Friday morning to go to Cape May, NJ for the weekend before heading home to New Hampshire.
