"I NEED" Newbie ?

I am tired and I have been looking for 2 hours. I know I have seen posts for these things but I can't find them. We camped this weekend and we now realize the need for a balance leveler. I can't find any links as to where to purchase.

The air conditioning runoff was pouring over the side of the canvas. Irritating noise. I know I have seen mods for this but I can't find them now when I need them
# 2 Gutter mod for run off

We are planning a 2 week summer trip and I want to be prepared.

We also need a rack for the bikes. some of the pop up racks I have seen mount on the top which might be OK for a solid surface but our "new to us" 1995 Jayco is not a solid roof. There is a middle and side seams.
Our next best choice is a rack for the top of the van.
Any Suggestions?

I need a bigger fridge! I am tired of water logged food from the ice chest. I was thinking about a tall dorm type fridge placed on top of the counter inside the camper. Any do's or dont's?

Any suggestions would be helpful! We are new to pop up camping only 3 weekends out) but so far it has been wonderful!

My parents used a dorm frig (the small cube size) in their pup.  Their trips were all basically 2 hours or less from home, so pre-chilling it was sufficient for cooling and keeping stuff cold on the drive there.  They just made sure there was plenty of space between the canvas and the frig for air circulation.  It worked well for them.

The dorm fridge can be used. My brother-in-law has one in his Apache Ramada.

I bought my BAL leveler from these folks last year for $51.84 and that was the lowest price I'd seen online.  They are currently $52.26 plus shipping:

I bought a Dorm fridge from Menards last year for our vintage 73 Starcraft.  We ususally go about 2-3 hrs away and camp at sites with electric.  These small fridges work GREAT - as long as you have power for them

There are 3 sizes, I don't remember the measurements, but the store I work for only carries the small cube fridge and the taller fridge.  The MEDIUM size fit perfectly under the beds of my camper when closed, and allows me to reach in and fill the fridge when the camper is folded up. our camper has the high sides, and in doing some remodeling, we took out some cabinets, so we have some extra floor space in a corner where the cabinets were removed.  When we get to the campsite we can either leave the Fridge on the floor, or raise it and put it on the counter.
 
the only drawback for us is that the dorm fridges have a large space out of them for the motor making the bottom shelf considerably smaller - which a propane/Elec/ Battery camper fridge does not.  We are BIG milk drinkers, and have a hard time fitting a gallon jug in the fridge, so we have to put milk into slimmer bottles for camping. Rinsed out 2 liter soda bottles work fine.

If you plan to camp in sites that do not have electricity, your dorm fridge will not work.  While a propane fridge is very expensive new - if you put the word out, you may cross paths with someone who is gutting an old camper to make a utility trailer out of, and may be able to find a used 3-way camper fridge.  I did - and  that friend of a friend gave me the fridge for free.

Now I just have to figure out how to install it.  :yikes:

Even if I get the 3-way working, I will probably continue to use the dorm fridge, too. ( for extra milk!  :p )  Plus, it's handy to have the dorm fridge - while the camper was in storage all winter, the dorm fridge was in our basement rec-room, being used for extra pop & snacks for the teenagers in my household!
