Screen Door Protector

We just bought a Jay Feather 17C and tried it out for the very first time this past Friday.  This is all new to us as we are tent campers.

We took our dog and in the middle of the night she got down from the bed and scratched on the door to let us know that she wanted to go out.  This would be fine if we were at home and the scratching was being done on the door, but this was on the screen door.

Is there some kind of screen door protector that I can put on at night?  She's a miniature schnauzer so it just needs the very bottom to be protected.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks!

Congratulations on the new camper.  That is a nice one.  I would get some plexiglas and put velcro on the plexiglas and the door frame.  I would put the soft side of the velcro on the door.  Then you could put it on and take it off as needed.:)

I second the suggestion of attaching something with velcro.

I wish I'd thought of that 2 yrs. ago when I had my daughters dog with me camping.  My dog and hers were in the PUP as I was setting up, and the bulldog discovered I wasn't inside - but outside hooking up the water lines and 'through the door she came' to get to me.  Thank heavens for duct tape (temporary fix)!

Thank you so much for your help.  Our next trip will be to a Jellystone Park in Waller, TX and I wanted to make sure I had something in place before that.
We have some friends that left their dog in their camper while they went to the swimming pool and the dog tore up their screen.
I'm thinking that while we're away from the campsite that we'll kennel our dog up inside our camper.
The plexiglass idea with the velco will work great for us since she likes to sleep in bed with me and my husband.
