PA Campgrounds???

We are still looking for good (looking for great) campgrounds throughout PA. The state camping areas are almost always minus the full hookup and have found none with WiFi and Cable hookups. If I can locate WiFi, the two of us can actualy skip out of our home offices on Thursday and go back on Monday, work from the popup and look like we have done a full days work.

If I have to use a camping area as an example - would like to use Lake Raystown in Entriken PA - the place is great! They are telling us they are going to be WiFi and Cable-ready as of next season - but this place has everything for all ages.

We need to go to the Scranton area in August and would like to find something besides a rusted old trailer park with maybe 20 transiant sites and they claim to be a camp ground. It really is where the less fortunate live and I am just not into that scene (sorry to sound like a snob, but pit bulls barking all night is not my idea of an enjoyable camping experience).

If anyone can recommend full hookup camping areas, maybe with a little space between sites (we actually stayed in one PA camping area between 2 giant RV's and never saw sunshine until they pulled out mid-day Sunday).

Rocks are trees are pretty but we do not need to practice our backup skills between those - usually I just give up, unhook the popup and shove it between trees and rocks and find a place wide enough to open the slide-out of the kitchen table.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, we usually look to avoid CGs with Wifi and cable, etc., so I cannot recommend anyplace in particular.  We like the SP CGs, but they have limited facilities, although are beautiful.  Have you searched through rvparkreviews.com?

Dear Jim,
Thanks for the search on rvparkreviews.com - great site. We have to go to a drum corp show in Scranton and cannot find a decent camping area near the place. I found one campground but they do not allow attack dogs - like I am an idiot to bring one??? I have a docile Doberman without cropped ears so it looks more brown lab than the killer that they think they are. Ours licks you to death.

I see you are a Jeep man also. I just bought my second Jeep Wrangler (bright yellow) and can honestly say they put the fun back in driving. Since we own land in PA, was able to register the Jeep with PA plates so I feel like I am almost there!!!

Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated
