Slow but steady work on 1962 Trade Winds

Well I got this 1962 Trade Winds last fall but progress is slow.  We had a cold, almost non-existent spring and moved right into a sweltering summer here in southwest Michigan.

But after much sanding and three coats of paint the interior is shaping up.  Put in a new floor this afternoon, just stick-on vinyl tile squares but it looks pretty good.

Have also replace scores of rusty fasteners with stainless steel or aluminum.  And the rusty hinges have been removed, primed, and painted with metallic paint.

The only painting due for the exterior is the tongue and the wheels.  The sheet metal will just get washed and waxed and should look very nice too.  I've only painted things that were already painted or were rusty.

I have found new tail lights identical to the old ones still on the trailer.   I'm not sure if they were original but look pretty correct for the era of the 60's.

Looks good John.
Please post more photos of the progress  :)
