Usually we would go with a group of friends to East Shore RV Park in San Dimas (Pudding Stone Lake/ Raging Waters) for July 4th

Dee4j

that's one we've never tried. others in the group have stated there and complained about skunks and poop on the bathroom floors.

I don't camp 4th of july

We're game....we've been wanting to try that park. It's close to home.

I like skunks.... :D  I think they're cute.

I've seen "Poop on the floor" in the of the finest hotels in the world :p .

We've camped there about 6 or more times over the last 6 years and I never saw or smelled any skunks?  Maybe there weren't at our end... we always stayed in the same section year after year.

Its a nice place.... tons of people that live there year-round in their Class A's and trailers.

Gracy, I like you already, you fit right in. You were meant to be with this group. Welcome again.

Wayne, if you really want a skunk We can probably find one for you and put him in your trailer with Doofus, i'm sure they will get along great. :)

you don't need skunks..we have the guys at the campfire...phrrrrrt...

OC Campers

I can vouch for the skunks.  They love the lower level by the lake.  Both times we stayed there they were all over the open area after dark.  Our friends' Goldon Retreiver was sleeping outside their tent and a skunk came up to him, Dodger did what dogs to (sniffed the butt) and got a face full.  The poor dog was foaming at the mouth.  The poor family had to ride home in the minivan with the stinky dog.:yikes:

It is a nice campground except for the airplanes taking off overhead

From their website

"NO sleeping in vehicles"

Where the heck do they expect us to sleep, but in our Recreational Vehicles
