I know, I'm never happy! hahaha!!!  :D

We had an oven in the RV.......... we had one in the old PUT.......... but I never used the ovens even once.

We were out shopping the other day and I started thinking about all these things I could cook if we had an oven in the new PUT!!! :screwy:

Do you use your oven if you have one?

Do you miss one if you don't have one?

I don't have a pop up but have a 16' Casita.  I too want an oven at times and in TX there are often burn bans where I camp.  I bought a Black and Decker toaster/convection oven and I love it.  My sister and I camp together a lot and have had biscuits, brownies, casseroles and I have even done toaster pastries.

We now have an oven in our TT and yes I have used it almost every time we have camped.....However I would just use our dutch oven if we didn't have the TT oven.....I love using the DO I just get lazy........Plus it's the newness of having the oven I'll get over it.....Hahaaaaaa

Dutch Oven baby!!  Obviously haven't been to any of our potlucks.  Lori's monkey rolls. are great.  I make a mean "Bear Lovers Choclate cake".  We make apple crisp, and sweet corn,, german pancakes, you name it.  Basically anything you can make in an oven you can make in a DO.

My PUP has an oven/range, and in the cooler months, I will use the oven, but during the summer I will take along a portable electric over and plug it in outside the PUP.

First, let me say I rarely camp with hook ups. (Boondocker, here)
I put a thermometer in the top of my RVQ. On the grill I put a piece of doubled foil as a heat diffuser and placed a cake trivet upside down on the foil to allow for air flow under the baking pan. Set the temp control to maintain 350 degrees, voila! Oven.

DH collects cast iron cookwear.... or at least he use to  :p  until I've slowly packed them all away ;)

My mom bought him a DO a few years ago... think she found it at a garage sale.... we haven't used it.  Maybe I'll dig it out and do some research.... you ladies can show me how to use it!!!!!  The monkey bread and apple crisps sound amazing!!!!!  :D

We have an oven in our PU......we use it to store snacks :D .

DO is the ONLY way to go. :-()

I suppose if we are on a camp-out that was really cold & wet (why would we do that  ) we might use the oven. It would keep the place warm and we could bake the stuff that we brought for the DO.

DO cooking has become part of our camping routine. I can't even imagine NOT using the DO on a camp-out now.

Nothing better than around Midnight, throwing some Bagel Bites in the oven for a little midnight snack
