Question on my popup the door and the jam have too much space between.
At the bottom it about 3/16 but at top of door it about 1/2, then at top (of top half of door) it's back to 3/16. I hope some one can help. Thanks Bert51

I have a 2007 Starcraft 3604, and have thr same problem..... I bought it used, so I wasn't sure what the heck was going on

Bert, it not an uncommon problem. You have to think of the door side of the trailer as two pieces with a large gap between them and this takes away quite a bit of the structural rigidity from that side.
So the camper is actually bending causing the door opening to spread more the farther from the floor it is. It goes back once over the solid wall to the top as that part is not stressed by the bending moment.
We usually add a jack stand, in addition t the corner stabilizers, to prevent/limit the amount the trailer can flex. It takes some trial and error to find the right spot along the frame to keep the door opening straight.
I've had two campers that had "ghosts". If you climbed into a bunkend the ghost would open the door. The extra weight cantilevered out would cause the side to flex enough to spread the door opening and release the latch. One I could fix by moving the latch, the other took the jack stand to decrease the flexing.

There is a specific sequence of setting up your Coachman that will reduce this problem.
