Composite Propane Tanks

I saw this on eBay:

At one time, there was a lot on conversation about these composite propane tanks. The thinking seemed to be that they were a good idea, just too expensive. These are relatively cheap. I thought that some may be interested in this.

It is a good price on the tank, but they are only 16 pound tanks.  I am not sure if my hooks would attach to the tanks properly.  With the shipping they are still too expensive for my budget.:(

They only hold about 4 gallons of propane (4.2# per gallon) but that's not bad. I like the fact that they are light and see through. We carry a 3rd tank with us during the "Winter :p " to run our Mr Buddy heater.

Like you say.....it's pretty pricey even at 1/2 of retail. I just can't justify spending $58 to save about 6#. Besides, it would be real enticing to CG thieves.
