Let's hear it for the AZ Cardinals! Growing up in MA and being a lifelong Patriots fan (and a season ticket holder) I lived through all their bad years and never thought I would see them win a Super Bowl. Now living in AZ for 9 years and watching the Cardinals collapse season after season it's nice to be experiencing  this kind of "for the first time" excitement again. I'm happy for Kurt Warner and especially for the players that have been here a long time and have played on all the bad teams. I didn't think they would do it but they have been playing some great ball the last three weeks. Even though my Pats didn't make the playoffs I still have something to cheer for in the Super Bowl.

I am happy for you and your local team, but GO STEELERS!!!

We lived in both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh before moving to Arizona, it would have been a tough choice for us if it were to be a Stillers and Iggles Super Bowl.  Been Arizona desert rats longer than we Pennsylvanians making it an easy choice:  Go Stillers!

You made the right choice, from a Philadelphia native.:D

I was born in Pittsburgh and still have many of my relatives there. We have been getting phone calls from my cousins most of the evening talking trash. It will be a little crazy around my house on February 1st.  I would have loved to have been up on Mt. Washington or the West End to watch all the fireworks when they went off from Heinz stadium.

Cardinals did do a great job. It was a nail biter the last 2 quarters of the game. DH and DD are big Fitzgerald and Warner fans. I too love the Cardinals. It definitely be a fun time around my house.

I have always been a cowboys fan, but since they couldn't get there, and a friend of mines nephew is Reggie Wells #74, I've been following alot of the Cards lately so.... GO CARDS!!!!

I gotta pull for the Cardinals. Why you ask? Well I'll tell ya. Even though a 37 year old man is a young man, in the NFL it qualifies Kurt Warner to be called the old man and with me being 48, I like pulling for the old man. Also, this has nothing to do with the Pittsburg Steelers or their fans, but I've already seen the Steelers win Super Bowls, I like it when teams that haven't won take home the trophy.

DH & I were born & raised in the Philly suburbs and are diehard Eagles fans (as well as our wonderful Phillies!).  However, DH's mother is from Pittsburgh (and we had many happy visits with Grandma there) and their hometown spirit has rubbed off on us.  I am proud to root for the Steelers;  but I think the most important thing to remember is that we are blessed to live in a country where we have the privilege of being able to think about sports rather than getting drinking water, food, etc.  I will enjoy the Super Bowl - may the best team win and I don't know who that will be - but I will also enjoy and be thankful for our wonderful country and the privilege of being able to worry about nothing else but a football game for two hours.  Enjoy, everyone!

Being from the Cincinnati Ohio area (Go Bengals) and with Pittsburgh being from the beautiful neighboring state of Pennsylvania the choice is easy.

GO CARDS!

Not enough time or space to list the reasons.

I am STILL in denial.  Titans fan here - and although I don't despise the Steelers as much as some teams, I won't be cheering for them.  Go Cards!  Besides, Kurt Warner is an Iowa boy so I'm going with the almost hometown guy on this one.

p.s.  and I just realized that my avatar is sort of fitting, too, although it is really Iowa State's bird!

THIS IS A "NO-BRAINER"

GO STILLERS!!!!!!!!  :U

Living in the St. Louis area and a longtime Rams fan I have to root for Kurt Warner.  He took us to our only two Superbowls (and we've tanked since he left) so I'd love to be able to watch him win another one.

Well, the congratulations go to the Steelers.  However, I think the Cardinals did a great job.  It was probably the best Super Bowl ever.  Hats off to the Cards, they gained more yards in the game against that Steelers defense than any other team the Steelers played this year.  The 23 points on the board were more than most any other team could manage this season.  The Cards showed themselves to be a Super Bowl calibre team, and hopefully will do well in the next few seasons.  Excellent job, Cardinals.  I'm impressed.

I agree, it was a good game and both teams deserved to be there. The coach of the Steelers said it all when he said, it wasn't a pretty win for the Steelers, but his players never gave up and came home with the win. I still don't know how those guys can stretch for the ball like they do and keep their toes glued to the turf. The catch for the winning touchdown was incredible.

I would love to see the Cardinals become one of those teams that is a contender year in and year out just like the Patriots and the 49ers did after so many years of mediacrity.

Now if we can only do something about those New Orleans Saints.
